Kelly + Dan

I love several things about my job. One, in particular, is the fact that I get to know and befriend so many people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. I think that photography is a very personal process. You’ve got to feel comfortable and safe with the person behind the camera. That’s the reason why I give away engagement shoots with every booking… I want to do everything I can to connect with my clients before their wedding day.

With that said, I was jumping at the chance to shoot Kelly and Dan! You see, Kelly was one of the first people I met after moving to GA. In fact, she has been one of my wife’s best friends since middle school. Kelly was a bridesmaid in our wedding… Courtney in hers… you get the idea. Talk about photography being a personal process! I’m so grateful for the blessing that Kelly and her family has been to my wife over the years, and I very much look forward to deepening that relationship with her and Dan for many years to come. So without further ado, I present a few of the portraits I was able to grab while hanging out with good friends. Thanks, Kelly and Dan!

chad - Amazing as usual! Your images are always so flawless! Looking forward to seeing more images...and you it'd be nice to see you as well. Our common link will be moving soon to Maryland, so we'll have to find another excuse to see each other.January 11, 2010 - 12:00 am

Nam - Thanks guys! And you're absolutely right, Chad. We need to stop hiding behind our Ryan-and-Shahla security blanket! It's time to musk up and become REAL friends (or is it family??). = )January 11, 2010 - 9:02 am
